Description
Flowclear ™ 5678 lt, Bestway® Sand Filter is a highly efficient and environmentally friendly way to keep clean water flowing through your above ground pool. It is a cheaper solution as the pump uses silica sand instead of a traditional filter cartridge.
While these cartridges need to be replaced every 2 weeks, silica sand lasts up to 3 years.
The sand will trap dirt and debris, but a pre-filter filter basket collects larger things so the pump lasts longer. The filter also comes with the ChemConnect dispenser, which keeps the water clean and healthy by providing a stable level of chlorine that is evenly dispersed throughout the pool.
This product is pre-assembled and is compatible with most above ground pools from 1,100 L up to 42,300 L, as it comes with a valve adapter for pools with an external diameter of 3.8 cm.
Sand is not included with this filter. The required sand size is 0.45 to 0.85 mm silica sand, sand capacity approx. 9 kg.
The filter also works great with Bestway's Polysphere ™ filtration beads.
